Friends in Heat begins with Jake Carmichael (Justin Yurmouth) driving through the desert as he remembers the time when he called Darryl MacDaniels (Brian Bonds) before anyone else five years earlier. Jake revels in the irony of this twist as Troy pleasures Jake in front of him. Jake finally invites Darryl to join and share Troy’s hard work, enjoying watching Darryl and Troy. Afterward when Darryl and Jake take a run, Darryl stops Jake to make a confession.
