Leilani Li is waiting for her blind date, Casey Calvert, to come pick her up. Leilani is exasperated because Casey is late. When Casey finally arrives, she barely looks up from her phone, and doesn’t apologize for being late. However, they both still agree to proceed with the date, even though neither of them seems very enthusiastic. Sometime later, they return after the date, and the mood is completely different. It turns out they had a good time and actually have GREAT chemistry. Casey apologizes for being late and distracted before, explaining she’s under a lot of stress. Leilani apologizes for coming across as a snob, explaining that the restaurant is where her ex used to take her. They’re both happy that they gave the date a chance, instead of calling it off due to bad first impressions.
